In the afternoon, applauses and cheers filled the air as the twelve aspiring contenders showcased their singing skills at the Primark Idol; hosted by the Monarch of Philippine Radio – DJ Kuya Chico of 106.7 Energy FM. The board of judges include Frenchie Dy (Star in a Million Season 2 Grand Champion), Garry Cruz (Singer, Songwriter, Vocal Coach, and Arranger), Thonnie Sanchez (Managing Director and Talent Manager of Star Creation Artist Management & Production accredited by ABS-CBN), Hon. Cresy del Rosario (Chairwoman of Brgy. 168, Deparo, Caloocan), and Jovy Lee (Head Marketing of LKY Group of Companies). The contenders are judged based on their talent, cohesiveness, showmanship and creativity.
While waiting for the announcement of winners, Frenchie Dy and Garry Cruz from the board of judges entertained the audience through a captivating song number. From twelve contenders, only three emerged victorious in the competition. Crystaline Eribeto (Camarin, Caloocan) – 2nd place, Johnrome Tiaga (Camarin, Caloocan) – 1st place, and Jheorge Normandia (Novaliches, Quezon City) as the first Primark Idol Gilmar Deparo Grand Champion.
