Primark Town Center Aringay Celebrates Its 1st Year Anniversary with Fun - Filled Activities
Early sunset, cold breeze air, puto bumbong smells are just some of the signs of the coming Christmas. Aringay, a second class municipality of La Union is creating a buzz lately due to several participants of the traditional Parol Making in town. Kids ages 12-18 are entitled to join using indigenous or recycled materials. Primark Town Center's Ben Lua, Chief Operating Officer said that the company would like to promote the spirit of camaraderie, sportsmanship, creativity and divert the energy of the youth today to valuable causes. The contest also encourages the engagement with the community by encouraging friends of participants to vote and support their team through vote stickers as part of the mechanics of the contest. This also shares a valuable lesson to vote and choose wisely the deserving parol entry. The history of parol originates from the story of how a star shining brightly became the guide of the three kings and others who were invited to witness the birth of a Savior. Primark Town Center Aringay celebrated the anniversary with a motorcade featuring artist, Mr. Claro Nang-is. Players also had fun finding their luck with the Masayang Pabingo and in the afternoon, it was a tough competition for the Primark Idol Singing Contest were emerging singing stars compete for the win. Aringay Town is also celebrating its town fiesta on Dec.10, 2018 with various festivities such as the Trade Fair, Day Care Parent Night, Tourism Night, Aringay's Got Talent Singing Contest, Aces Night, Little Miss Aringay and Rabii Ti Umili.
